The blade is core VG10 Stainless steel and stainless cladding (Sanmai).

TESSHU is our Japanese cooking knife brand name, and Kiryu Manufacturing Co. made the blade which has very skillful craftsmanship in Sanjyo, Niigata.




It is Sanmai-uchi which is core steel (VG10 steel) with soft iron (stainless) cladding, so it is able to bring up higher HRC compared with mono steel blade.

Handle is made with Japanese Magnolia and water buffalo bolster.
