TESSHU Petty Knife 5-1/2" (140mm) blue II steel / stainless cladding blade w/ Japanese Magnolia and Water Buffalo ferrule handle

[DESCRIPTION]

The Petty knife, also known as a Japanese paring knife or utility knife, is a small, versatile kitchen tool primarily used for precision tasks. It typically features a blade length ranging from 80mm to 180mm (approximately 3 to 6 inches), making it larger than a western paring knife but smaller than a chef's knife, such as the Gyuto.

Common Uses

  • Food Preparation: Ideal for slicing fruits and vegetables, peeling skins, dicing ingredients for salads, and trimming meat
