Yanagi Kiritsuke 270mm Mizu Honyaki Mirror Finish Blade Knife with Ebony Handle
I am not an original owner, so my information is very limited and mostly from the appearance.
I am not 100% sure, but it could be white 2 steel Mizu Honyaki, and I do not know the blacksmith name.
It has wavy Mountain Hamon on the both sides.
It has octagonal shaped ebony handle with water buffalo handle.
It looks new condition to me, but it was not sharp enough, so I sharpened and got some minor scratches.
It is mirror finish, so it is hard to show in the pictures the beautiful wavy Hammon pattern.
The blade length (from the tip to the heel): 270mm (10 1/2 inch)
The total length of the knife: 430mm (17inch)
The heel part of the spine width: 2.5mm
The width from the heel to the spine: 36mm (1 3/8 inch)
The total weight of the knife: 222g(7.8oz.)
