Vintage IWASAKI Tamahagane Kamisori 52mm Nichogake Japanese Razor in wooden box
.***it has a red stamp “Iwasaki” on the paper of the box. I have seen hundreds of vintage Iwasaki kamisori, and all of them had Iwasaki stamp on the back of the blade, but this one does not have it, so it might be proto-type or the razor was made from different company and misplaced or Sanjyo Seisakujyo(Iwasaki) inspected the razor for the company. Anyway, according to the box of the paper, the razor is Tamahagane steel, and hardness, etc. were proved by Mr. Iwasaki***
It has 52mm blade, so it is Nichogake which means longer blade version. It is match with the description on the paper of the box***
It looks it used and sharpen for a while.
I think it is still in excellent condition.
